Jessica Lee grew up in California and now resides in the Pacific Northwest. She is an Assistant Editor for Narrative Magazine and an former intern for Copper Canyon Press. She was a finalist for the 2017 So to Speak Poetry Contest judged by Natalie Diaz and the 2017 Greg Grummer Poetry Award judged by Monica Youn.
She holds a BA in Creative Writing and a minor in Dance from Western Washington University. While at Western, she worked as an editor for Jeopardy Magazine and as a Writing Assistant and Student Coordinator for Western’s Research and Writing Studio.
Her work is forthcoming in CALYX Journal, Grist, and Passages North.
